We begin by examining the product’s merits and the supplier’s ability to serve the customer well. An introduction has lasting value when the business behind it can fulfil the promise.
↗Choosing the market
A good product deserves a market in which its advantages matter. We examine who is likely to buy it, how purchasing decisions are made and what a new supplier must demonstrate to be taken seriously. The first judgement concerns whether the opportunity is worth pursuing.
↗Developing the relationship
BSM can identify prospective accounts, prepare an approach and support discussions with buyers. The work follows the customer’s actual purchasing process, from the first useful introduction through evaluation and negotiation. Progress is judged by the quality of opportunities and their movement towards an order.
↗The products we consider
Hospitality equipment, hotel technology, wellness products, premium F&B and specialised B2B services may offer suitable opportunities. We look for suppliers who can sustain their product’s reputation after the sale, with dependable delivery and the support a demanding customer will expect.
↗A working commercial arrangement
Before representing a supplier, we agree where BSM can act and how its contribution will be recognised. The customer must know who supplies the product and who will resolve a problem if one arises. A worthwhile relationship allows the producer to serve the market properly and BSM to develop sales on commercially sound terms.
